I'll overwhelm 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two time unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
